LANA DEL REY DEBUTS ‘VIOLET BENT BACKWARDS OVER THE GRASS’ POETRY AUDIOBOOK: Lana Del Rey ‘has debuted the audiobook version of her poetry collection, Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass. The audiobook is read by Del Rey, and features music from her frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, and there’s one sample poem available to listen to right now: “LA Who Am I To Love You.” The hardcover and ebook versions of her poetry book will come out September 29th, with CDs and LPs out on October 2nd. Lana previously said that half of the proceeds would “benefit Native American organizations around the country, whether it was for preserving their rights or trying to help keep their land intact.” She also has a new album coming, tentatively scheduled for September.

Taking to his Instagram, MGK posted a new pic of the two together, with the caption, “waited for eternity to find you again … 🔪💫❤️🔪.” Megan and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship was first reported back in May, just before she confirmed her split with husband, Brian Austin Green, and even starred in his music video for “Bloody Valentine.”
LOLLAPALOOZA VIRTUAL FESTIVAL TO FEATURE ELLIE GOULDING, FUTURE, PAUL MCCARTNEY & MORE: Lollapalooza is going virtual in 2020. Organizers have announced Lolla2020, a four-night broadcast featuring new sets and classic Lollapalooza performances. Lolla2020 will stream for free July 30th to August 2nd on YouTube beginning at 6 p.m. EST each night. The full list of performers will be unveiled today. Alison Wonderland, Carnage, H.E.R., Kali Uchis, Kaskade, Louis the Child, Nghtmre, Pink Sweat$, Saymyname, Tank and the Bangs, The Neighbourhood, Vic Mensa, Yungblud, Zhu and other acts will perform new, live sets. Classic sets from previous Lollapalooza festivals include Future, Ellie Goulding, Paul McCartney, LCD Soundsystem, Metallica, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Run the Jewels, Lorde, Alabama Shakes, Tove Lo, Chance the Rapper, Outkast and Arcade Fire. The broadcast will also feature appearances by Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot, former first lady Michelle Obama, Perry Farrell, LL Cool J, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and others.
