DEMI LOVATO TEAMS WITH TRAVIS BARKER FOR NEW ‘I LOVE ME’ REMIX: Blink-182’s Travis Barker teamed up with Demi Lovato for a new remix of her latest single, “I Love Me.” Demi announced the remix with an Instagram post that read, “#ILoveMe but make it… emo? Out tomorrow night with @travisbarker!!!” She added emojis of a black heart, surprised eyes, a drum and a hand making the “heavy metal horns” gesture to the post. She catapulted fans back to the Myspace era by centering her lyric video around the once popular social media website. “I Love Me” is the lead single off Lovato’s forthcoming seventh studio album.
KATY PERRY ANNOUNCES ‘DAISIES,’ FIRST SINGLE FROM FIFTH STUDIO ALBUM: Katy Perry, who is currently expecting her first child with Orlando Bloom, has revealed that her first single from her upcoming fifth studio album will be called “Daisies,” and will be released May 15th. “The first single from #KP5 is called #DAISIES and she’s coming MAY 15, 2020 🌼 THE MUSIC MUST GO ON Pre-save link in bio,” she wrote on her Instagram, along with the cover art for the upcoming single. This will be Katy’s first studio album since 2017’s Witness. No word on an album release date.

The song was produced by Palmistry, with additional production from A. G. Cook and Mechatok, and is described as “drawing from elements of UK garage and hints of Baltimore club music.” how i’m feeling now is set to be released on May 15th, and is being written, recorded and released entirely in quarantine amid the pandemic.
LANCE BASS TOPS OFF BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS WITH NSYNC REUNION ZOOM CALL: Lance Bass hosted a mini NSYNC reunion for his birthday this week. The 41-year-old singer shared a recap of his birthday celebrations on Instagram, showing off the “parade of cars outside my house with a few friends.” Lance also revealed that his former bandmates – Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez – reunited with a Zoom call to celebrate. Justin Timberlake was the only one not there. “My loved ones made it so special. I’m still in shock,” he wrote on his feed, adding, “I had enough food sent over to feed an army. SAM SMITH & DEMI LOVATO TAKE FANS BEHIND THE SCENES OF THEIR ‘QUEER OLYMPICS’ VIDEO ‘I’M READY’: Demi Lovato & Sam Smith have released a behind-the-scenes look at their “I’m Ready” video. “For a lot of the gay community, sports was always kind of a traumatizing experience in high school,” Demi shared. “So Sam thought it would be very empowering to kind of take over high school sports in the way that we did, and almost kind of taking the power back.” Sam adds, “It’s a queer Olympics … I think we’ve actually made the gayest video of all time.” Throughout the clip, director Jora Frantzis walks fans through the vision of the video, which she says centered around reclaiming a space for queer people everywhere.
