Paul McCartney has cancelled his entire upcoming European tour. A message was posted on the official PaulMcCartney.com website explaining that given the current situation with the coronavirus along with “current and future work commitments,” alternative dates were impossible to book. Fans should refer to their point of purchase for refund information. McCartney and his band were set to kick off the trek on May 23rd in Villeneuve D’Ascq, France.
McCartney said in an announcement:
We were looking forward to seeing you all this summer for what we know would have been much fun. The band and I are so sorry we can’t be with you, but these are unprecedented times and the wellbeing and safety of everyone is the priority. I hope you are all keeping well as we look forward to the brighter times ahead. We will rock again. Love Paul
