Britney Spears will have to wait until August make her case against her conservatorship due to COVID-19, a judge has ruled.
Judge Brenda Penny ruled that Jodi Pais Montgomery will remain the conservator of Britney until August 22nd. Judge Penny pushed the date back due to the COVID-19 pandemic closing down courthouses. However, the family is reportedly anxious due to the recent admission from Britney that she accidentally burned down her gym.
Last September, Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, was removed by a judge as his daughter’s conservator after requesting to step down amid his health battles. He picked Montgomery to take over for him until he’s healthy enough to resume his role.
