The Who, Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, and Roger Waters have all postponed their upcoming spring dates.
- The Who posted on their official website (TheWho.com), “The April and May stops on 'The Who’s Moving On! Tour' are proactively being rescheduled to the fall/autumn out of an abundance of caution. As soon as we have the dates finalized we’ll share the updated schedule, and all tickets will be honored accordingly. Thank you for your understanding. Both Pete (Townshend) and Roger (Daltrey) — and the rest of the Who band — cannot wait to get out there and be with you all and share in some great music. Long live rock.”
- Seeing as how the Who pushed its spring European dates back to the spring of 2021, it's a safe bet that the North American stops will take place either just before that or soon after.
- Although he's in no way forgotten the band's incredible history, Roger Daltrey recognizes that the Who remains very much a part of the now — both in terms of the business and a still growing legion of fans: “It's nice to have survived, because we did lose a lot of friends on the way. It is extraordinary — and (to) still able to be able to draw an audience that in some ways is, y'know — to what young bands kind of draw — is enormous; thanks to things, like CSI and our songs being on there and other bands picking up Who music and saying that it influenced them. Their fans come and see us and they say: 'Woo, this is something different.' I mean, it's true, Who music is very different from most rock n' roll that's out there.”

- Ringo Starr has already rescheduled his 2020 All Starr Band dates and rolled out the new itinerary, pushing the tour back to 2021. Ringo said in a statement: “This is very difficult for me. In 30 years I think I’ve only missed two or three gigs, never mind a whole tour. But this is how things are for all of us now, I have to stay in just like you have to stay in, and we all know it’s the peace and loving thing we do for each other. So we have moved the Spring tour to 2021. My fans know I love them, and I love to play for them and I can’t wait to see you all as soon as possible. In the meantime stay safe. Peace and Love to you all.”
- Ringo Starr is a rare breed having nothing but love and respect for has past and excitement and pleasure from his work today: “Well, I think the shining hours keep coming. I do, I think they keep coming. You sell yourself short if you think that was the moment. I’ve had many great moments; I’ve enjoyed my life, I’ve been, y’know. . . the gift of being able to play and to still be able to play with musicians like I’ve got on stage today — it’s a blessing.”

- The Coronavirus has also forced Roger Waters to postpone his summer and fall solo tour. Waters also couldn't help to throw in a bit of news besmirching Donald Trump within the tour announcement.
- Waters wrote: “THE BAD NEWS: I’ve had to postpone my THIS IS NOT A DRILL tour until next year. Bummer, but if it saves one life, it’s worth it. Ticketholders are advised to hold onto their original tickets and await further information. THE GOOD NEWS!!!! A federal Judge in Washington DC ruled on March 25, 2020 that Trump’s Dakota Access Pipeline Executive order was ILLEGAL and demands an E.I.S (Environmental Impact Statement). I spent a lot of time in the education system in England, which by and large was pretty good. But, when I went to my secondary school, which was a grammar school, they were pretty much of the 'sit down, be quiet, shut up and listen' school of education. We had canes and stuff like that, so there was plenty to rebel against — but then I've always been politically active, so when I was a kid I was involved in the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and other organizations like that.”
