Kiss' restaurant chain Rock & Brews is about to be expanded into a casino complex in Biloxi, Mississippi, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. A partner involved in the project, the RAM Group's Tom Moore, told Casino.org the plans for the casino “include a 3,000-capacity concert hall, 300-room hotel and a casino with 1,000 slot machines.” The property previously housed a casino owned by Jimmy Buffett under his Margaritaville brand.
Funding for the new project is already in place along with site approval being granted. A casino license is expected to be approved in the next few weeks.
A while back, Gene Simmons told us about some prospective business deals he was working on, proving that he has many other interests beyond being a bassist in a legendary rock band: “There's some real estate deals in China. There are eight different projects — one is a 55-story skyscraper, a theme park, and lots of other stuff; a cable television network; some stocks. I mean, I can't be too specific about this stuff, but there's a lot of big stuff, any one of which could make Kiss, the entire entity, look like a popcorn fart — but would be nowhere near as much fun.”
