There's been no official word yet, but according to an official Amazon posting, Def Leppard is prepping a new multimedia live set for the spring. The band's upcoming “Deluxe Limited” four-CD / two DVD London To Vegas collection has a release date on the books for April 24th. A teaser for the project popped up on YouTube — with a “2-27-20” date splashed across the screen — presumably hipping fans as to when they can expect the set's official announcement.
According to the official product description via Amazon.com: “(The) special deluxe edition featuring 2 unique shows! In 2018 Sheffield’s finest made their long-awaited debut at London’s O2 Arena. Def Leppard performed the ground-breaking Hysteria album in its entirety. In 2019, the newly minted Rock & Roll Hall of Famers returned to Las Vegas for their infamous Sin City residency, featuring stunning video walls, two stages and rarely performed album cuts, making for an unforgettable concert experience. Includes exclusive behind the scenes bonus features.”
Guitarist Phil Collen told us Def Leppard is always aiming to introduce their catalogue to newer fans while on tour: “People go, 'Oh, are you promotin' any album?' And it's, like, 'Yeah, all of 'em.' We've got, like, 12 studio albums, or something, that we're actually gonna be out there promoting. That's really cool. That's totally exciting that we can finally bring that to people in a different format. We're changing up, obviously, some of the songs are gonna be different and the look of the stage and everything.”
