A year after reuniting with sister Nancy for the long-awaited Heart reunion tour, singer Ann Wilson is heading back on the road for a string of solo shows. Ann kicks off the 16-date trek on April 30th at Englewood, New Jersey's Bergen PAC, with the spring leg wrapping on May 21st at Northfield, Ohio's Hard Rock Live.
Ann and the band have one summer date already on the books for July 31st in Paso Robles, California at the California Mid-State Fair.
Ann Wilson told us that she's confident that Heart fans are open to see both her and Nancy forge new creative paths apart from their work together: “I think that artists are just people, and once you go over the same old ground enough times, you just wanna stray off on a tributary a little bit. Hopefully it's something that really does represent you, so that people will recognize you enough to give you a chance (laughs). I think it's really important for artists to lead the way and to, at least, give people a chance to hear something new. We're not just going over the same ground endlessly (laughs). It's gotta be new.”
