Nicki Minaj has admitted that beefing with ex Meek Mill on social media was a mistake. During a Keynote Conversation at Pollstar Live! 2020 in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night (February 5th) with her manager Irving Azoff, she said about the heated Twitter war, “I was hacked! I got hacked this morning, don't believe anything you saw! . . . It never fails. Everytime I do it, five minutes later, I’m like, ‘Why the f*ck did I do that?’ But it’s a good lesson in knowing how to master your anger and emotions. Everytime I do that, I give myself a talking to in my head.”
Nicki also talked about her husband Kenneth Petty, who she says helps boost her confidence. She explained, “I think the thing that has changed my life the most… When you marry someone that lifts you up and whenever I’m down, I can have one conversation with my husband and it will get me back where I need to be mentally. He’s been a really great force in my life. I’ve known him since I was 17 and I feel a level of comfort with him that I hadn’t felt before to just be myself and to share who I am.”
Nicki also revealed that she has been in the gym and has lost 13 pounds. She also revealed that she'd like to star a hair line and an athletic wear line.
NICKI RESPONDS TO 'ROSA PARKS' LYRIC BACKLASH
Nicki Minaj also responded to the backlash she received from her “Rosa Parks” line in her new song “Yikes.” On the song, she spits, “All you b****es Rosa Parks // Uh oh, get your a** up.” The snippet came out on Parks' birthday.
TMZ reported that Nicki apologized for the line, calling it bad timing.
Nicki later addressed the report and the line, saying, “Never said this. Had no clue anyone was mad. Don't care.” #Yikes
