In David Crosby's latest installment of Rolling Stone's “Ask Croz” advice column, he touched on several topics — most notably dealing with crippling grief. Although the new segment had light-hearted questions regarding sex and drugs — a devastated fan wrote to Crosby for advice in dealing with the death of their 44-year-old son who fatally overdosed on fentanyl.
A visibly moved Crosby spoke from the heart: “I can't help ya. You have to go on with your life. I don't know if you have other family, but if you had a kid, you got a partner. And you've got yourself. Bitter sadness, though. There is no fix. I have no fix for you. I can only be honest with you and tell you that's a terrible weight to carry. I would look for joy anywhere I could find it and try to balance. Sorry, I wish I could help you.”
