LINDSAY LOHAN TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN FEBRUARY: Lindsay Lohan says her new album is coming next month. The 33-year-old singer and actress said in an Instagram comment that she will release her third studio album at the end of February. Lohan spoke out after a fan account shared a throwback photo of her performing. The fan account wrote the caption, “Hope we get LL3 this year @lindsaylohan!” “End of feb!” Lohan responded. Lohan’s most recent album, A Little More Personal (Raw), was released in 2005. She released the new single “Xanax” in 2019. Lohan had teased new music in June, sharing a since-deleted photo of herself in the studio. She subsequently confirmed plans for new music by re-tweeting an article about the photo. “Hard At Work,” she wrote.
BILLIE EILISH, HARRY STYLES BOOKED AS BRIT AWARD PERFORMERS: Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel and Stormzy are confirmed as performers for the 2020 BRIT Awards in London on February 18th. Mabel is set to take the stage at the O2 Arena. The artists will join previously announced performer Celeste – the 2020 BRIT Rising Star Award winner – at the event honoring excellence in music in Britain. The ceremony is scheduled to air live on British broadcaster ITV. Actor and comedian Jack Whitehall is hosting the gala.
BTS TO PERFORM JANUARY 28TH ON ‘LATE LATE SHOW’: BTS will return to The Late Late Show with James Corden. CBS announced that BTS will appear on the show’s January 28th episode to perform their new single “Black Swan.” The Late Late Show will mark BTS’ first TV performance of “Black Swan,” released Friday. The group shared an “art film” for the song featuring a performance by the MN Dance Company. “Black Swan” appears on BTS’ forthcoming album, Map of the Soul: 7. BTS will release the album, a followup to Map of the Soul: Persona, on February 21st.
