Coldplay has announced that it will play an intimate show for fans at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 20th). All proceeds from the concert will go toward the Reform LA Jails initiative, which continues to campaign for prison reform in California.
Fans are encouraged to register for tickets through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program, which is open through Wednesday night (January 15th). Those selected will receive a code that will allow them to purchase tickets in a fair manner starting on Friday (January 17th) at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The show is the first of two that Coldplay will perform in Los Angeles during the next week. The band previously announced a gig on January 21st, also at the Palladium, in support of A New Way of Life, which provides housing and support to women rebuilding their lives after prison. The band will also appear on Ellen this Wednesday (January 15th).
