Graham Nash has just tagged on seven new dates onto his upcoming spring jaunt. Nash's ongoing tour features just him, Shane Fontayne — Crosby, Stills, & Nash's longtime road guitarist, and keyboardist Todd Caldwell. New stops just added to the itinerary include shows in Rocky Mount, Virginia; Coral Springs and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; Ashville, North Carolina; St, Louis, Missouri; and Elgin, Illinois.
Graham Nash, who ranks among the original rockers to talk openly about environmental issues, told us that people need to change their focus when it comes to the plight of our planet: “I wish we would take the emphasis off trying to save the Earth, and become realistic, because in many ways, the Earth doesn't care about humanity, y'know? If everybody died today, the Earth would just go on spinning. If we could switch the thinking to be 'how do we save ourselves?,' I think a lot more people would become involved. But we have this esoteric, out-there kind of problem: 'Let's save the Earth.' The Earth doesn't care — the Earth's gonna do what it's gonna do, y'know, no matter what.”
